In 1973, immediately out of graduate school, Barry began his studio career. He quickly gained a reputation for his unique designs and superb craftsmanship and enjoys the rewards and fulfillment of a successful studio artist and the freedom to experiment in his chosen medium.

In 1981, Rosalind retired from teaching elementary school after 11 years of success. She joined Barry in the studio, bringing with her the organizational and people skills of her former profession. She also brought a raw creativity that blended well with Barry’s work.
